The star performance for the Lady Patriots came from Carmen Alder, who won the overall meet MVP of girls’ distance events by winning both the girls’ 3,200-meter run and the girls 1-mile run with her times of 10:36.84 and 5:02.33, respectively.

The excellent performance on the Patriot boys’ side came from Matt Bauer, who placed sixth overall in the elite boys 1-mile run, finishing in a new personal-best time of 4:21.91.

In addition to Bauer’s performance, TJaden Gaddy also had a stellar performance in the boys’ long jump, earning seventh overall with his jump of 22-0.75, and Joel Medlin was outstanding in the boys’ shot put, throwing 35-1 to place him 11th overall.
