The Pinecrest girls’ basketball team bounced back from a tough loss to claim a 55-26 win over Hoke County Friday in Raeford.

One of the keys to the win was a 19-3 third-quarter surge that put the game away for the Patriots. The win put the Patriots at 4-3 (9-7 overall) in the Sandhills Athletic Conference.

The tough loss came Tuesday at home in another conference encounter. Jack Britt held off Pinecrest 47-43 to get the win. Jack Britt leads the league with a 6-0 mark.
