Divanna Yonts had a chance to showcase her fast pitch softball skills in Myrtle Beach, S.C., this past weekend.
Yonts, an eighth-grader at Crains Creek Middle School, competed in the Softball Youth All-American games, where she had an opportunity to play with girls from across the United States.
She was also recognized as an All-American.
Yonts has been playing fast pitch softball for four years. She is a utility player (shortstop and third baseman) while also pitching.
She is the daughter of Todd and Michelle Yonts of Vass.
