Moore County was well-represented in the Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA) Triad School’s Out Junior held June 8-9 at Pinewood Country Club in Asheboro.

Jonathan Honeywell of Whispering Pines finished first in the boys’ 14-15 flight. He finished two strokes in front of runner-up Ethan Paschal of Fayetteville after carding an even-par 72-72—144.

Colin Dutton of Foxfire was runner-up in the boys’ 16-18 flight. He shot a 73-67—140 to tie with Ben Jordan of Greensboro, but was defeated in a playoff.

Allison Robinson of Pinehurst finished second in the girls’ 13-18 flight.
