Nicole Adam of Pinehurst finished tied for third Sunday in the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship at TPC Myrtle Beach.

She shot her best round in Sunday’s final round, carding a 72 to move up the leaderboard. Her 72 tied for best round of the day.

She recorded a three-day total of 75-77-72—224 to finish tied with Katherine Schuster for third.

Taylor Roberts finished the tournament at 4-over par, good for a three-shot cushion over runner-up Yoko Tai.

Adam, a senior at The O’Neal School, has committed to play college golf at UNC.
