Jim Hart’s pathetic, straw-grasping piece in the June 23 Pilot suggests President Trump might be tempted to accept foreign intelligence on his political foes. Given the documented international corruption that took place under Jim’s pals in the Barack Obama administration, any sane person would be tempted to keep tabs on avowed enemies.

Let’s see: Hillary Clinton selling government access to enrich The Clinton Foundation and her family; Attorney General Eric Holder’s “Fast and Furious” guns to Mexican drug cartels program; Hillary’s Uranium One deal, which gave Russians access to U.S. uranium stockpiles; then-Vice President Joe Biden’s intervention within the Ukrainian justice system — withholding $1 billion of U.S. pledged funds until a Prosecutor General was fired — to protect his son, Hunter; Obama’s $1.8 billion cash “gift” to fund the Iranian mullahs’ sponsorship of terrorism; Secretary of State John Kerry’s sellout of U.S. interests in the Paris Climate Accords; Hillary’s funding of the fake Russian sourced dossier; Obama’s whispered assurance to Vladimir Putin via then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he would have more “flexibility” after his second-term election.

And these are merely examples we know about.

I believe that it would be of interest for those who are actually interested to read the article posted on WRAL site today. AP Fact Check: 2020 Democrats and their grasp of the facts. The information provided by the article takes some of the air out of the comment made about the " unmitigated disaster that Trump and his so called administration have brought to our country ". I was really quite surprised by the source of the article, the AP has been leaning left a bit over the months. The article covers several high profile Democratic candidates , it's worth the read.

Your facts still don't make it right for President Trump.

As Joseph Goebbles said "if you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it people will eventually come to believe it". An ever increasing number of Americans see what Woodward recited as just recycled GOP garbage, none of which explains or excuses the reality that is the unmitigated disaster that is Trump and his so called administration.

Goebbles quote is even more appropriate for the democrats. More examples than I care to list on a Saturday evening.

I agree Sally, but why oh why are the DNC and Hillary above the law when conspiring with the Russians to derail the Trump campaign? I'll assume that you will be OK with the indictments coming on what they did to our country. All we have heard for more than two years is Russia, Russia, Russia! A big nothing burger.

Dan Roman

"A big nothing burger" put seven of Trumps former aides in jail!
