When Will We Ever Learn?
The loss of 13 young volunteer service members in Afghanistan should give/has given us all a moment to think. Seeing the remains of these young heroes returning to Dover AFB, appropriately witnessed by a large group of our current national leaders, instantly reminded me of a portion of the 1960s protest song “Where have all the Flowers Gone?”
“Where have all the soldiers gone // long time time passing //
Gone to graveyards every one,
When will we ever learn // When will we ever learn?”
