I would like to thank Moore County residents and businesses for their remarkable support for the mission of the United Way of Moore County in this most recent campaign.

Since the annual campaign wrapped up, 18 grants have been approved for 17 partner agencies. This will allow opportunities for success for many children and adults that might not otherwise be available if it weren’t for your generosity.

I would especially like to thank Hugh Bingham of First Bank, our campaign chair, and his team for their hard work in making this campaign successful.

Unfortunately, those who need us will not disappear with this most recent campaign. Therefore, this fall (as we have done for over 50 years) we will continue our march with another campaign to make this county a better place for all.

Thank you, Moore County! We are a better place because of you.

Gerald Galloway, vice chair, Resource Development, United Way of Moore County
