Kudos to Aberdeen for building a ramp at the entrance of the Union Station Depot on Main Street in Aberdeen. The entrance is now safe and handicapped accessible.

This is especially important since an all-school reunion is scheduled for Sept. 20 and 21 for Aberdeen High School alumni, teachers and friends.

The last class to graduate from AHS was the class of 1969. They will be observing the 50th anniversary of that occasion. The Aberdeen High School Museum is housed in the depot. We are anticipating an influx of visitors to the museum during this reunion weekend.

Very special thanks are extended to Paul Sabiston, town manager; Joe Wood, Public Works director; and Bruce McFadden, private contractor, for making this incredible ramp addition possible.
