Pilot contributor Kyle Sonnenberg correctly points out the inequity to other incorporated towns in Moore County of a new recreation facility in Carthage being built with no funding from Carthage.
I would like to point out that the inequity also extends to unincorporated areas of the county which are beyond the reasonable utilitarian range of a Carthage facility. West End and Eagle Springs come to mind.
