As someone who has been in the front lines of our criminal justice system, I want to add my two cents concerning the race for district attorney. Without question, Arthur Donadio is the best candidate for this position.

Arthur is a highly ethical attorney; I have never had to doubt his word in a case, whether I was defending a criminal case or litigating a civil dispute with him (he has experience trying custody cases and was good at it.)

He is an outstanding trial lawyer. There are some prosecutors that cause me to work all night to prepare for trial — Arthur is one of those prosecutors.

Arthur has a fundamental sense of decency. This is important. A prosecutor has overwhelming power to destroy people, including the guilty, the innocent and the folks on the margins — those folks that made mistakes due to circumstances often caused by circumstances beyond their control. This is the majority of people in the criminal justice system.

The ability to distinguish those who need the hammer and those who should be given a second chance is the most important qualification for a prosecutor. For all these reasons, Arthur Donadio has my absolute endorsement.
