My purpose in writing is to recommend, without equivocation, Lydia Boesch for election to the Pinehurst Village Council.

I worked closely with Lydia for several years while serving as a member of the Pinewild Country Club Property Owners Association. She was always well-informed on a wide range of issues, had the best interests of our property owners at heart, and was not at all reluctant to take on the tough challenges.

Her legal background, combined with her personal contacts in and around the village, gave those of us on the board very well-reasoned and thoroughly researched positions on many “sticky” issues.

Lydia is smart, energetic, personable and tenacious. She will be a superb member of the Village Council.
