With the advent of the roundabout on Midland Avenue and Central Drive comes more issues with traffic flow.
Drivers traveling north or south on U.S. 1 no longer have the option of going west to Pinehurst via Midland taking exit 42A. You have to take 42B to Pinehurst. It is clearly stated on exit signs.
This creates dangerous U-turns on Midland right at Sandavis Street. There is really not enough space to safely make that move. It creates a dangerous backup and hazard when even one car is trying to make a U-turn.
Please remember to use 42B to Pinehurst destinations via Midland.
