This letter is in response to Steve Woodward’s recent letter. Am I really seeing what I’m reading?

You called the people who work at Nature’s Own “tattooed punks”? These so-called punks are our future generation and certainly they read the newspaper.

And yes, (editor) John (Nagy) should have apologized to Robbins; those pictures were horrible and had nothing to do with the fun time everyone had at Farmers Day.

Robbins at one time was thriving. My family is and was from there. There are many people in the town that care about Robbins and are trying to revitalize it. My family has personally put much money into that town.

I have friends on the Police Department, the Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Nurses, attorneys and an astronaut all came from Robbins. Maybe you should help out and put your money where your mouth is.
