Lillian Lee Willingham Currin, 90, died Friday, June 26, 2020, in Pinehurst.

She is survived by her daughter, Lillian Carol Currin Stanley and son-in-law, Tony Ashley Stanley, of Goldsboro, daughter-in-law, Sandra Shoaf Currin, of Buies Creek; and sister-in-law, Mary Willingham, of Decatur, Ga.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Julie Stanley Moesch, Scott Currin Stanley, and David Randolph Currin; great-grandchildren, Magdalene Grace Moesch and Henry Roycroft Moesch; niece, Anna Willingham Brittain; and nephews, Field Willingham and Paul Edmund Willingham III.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Randolph Currin Sr.; daughter, Lelia Anne Currin; son, Henry Randolph Currin Jr.; and brother, Paul Edmund Willingham.

She was born in Ridgely, Tenn., to parents Paul Edmund Willingham and Carol Bird Willingham. She attended Duke University in Durham, and was married for 53 years to her husband Randolph. She worked along side Randolph for more than 20 years in tobacco warehouses in Durham, Kentucky, South Carolina and Maryland. She was a true Southern belle and socially active woman, and was deeply involved with her church, First Baptist Church of Pinehurst.

A private burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to First Baptist Church of Pinehurst in her honor.
