Moore County schools will operate under "a normal schedule unless otherwise notified" on Friday, the district announced in a statement.
School was canceled Thursday for students and staff because of potentially hazardous weather from Hurricane Doria. In the statement, the school system advised parents and students to "stay tuned to the district website and social media feeds, and to local media, for more information."
Earlier on Thursday, Moore County Public Safety announced that county offices will "operate on a normal business day schedule" for Friday.
"Fire, rescue, EMS and law enforcement operations continue throughout the county without interruption," the agency said in a statement.
