“Saturday in the Park,” the famous 1970s song by Chicago, is also the Aug. 10 outdoor concert at the Sunrise Theater.
The concert will be held on the First Bank Stage at the Sunrise and feature Chi-Town Transit Authority, a Chicago tribute band. Chi-Town will be playing hits including “25 or 6 to 4,” “You’re the Inspiration,” “Does Anybody Really Know “What Time It Is,” “Make Me Smile” and many more of Chicago’s greatest hits.
Sunrise’s Saturday in the Park will be a unique experience – VIP tickets are $35 and include premium seating close to the stage, a custom Sunrise chair to keep, and exclusive access to a special VIP concessions area. Lawn seating is $18, and guests are reminded to bring a chair or blanket. No coolers or dogs will be permitted at the concert.
This fun and family-friendly event is sponsored by the Ironwood Cafe.
