The Sunrise Theater presents the Bolshoi Ballet’s “Swan Lake,” live in HD from Moscow on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m.
Tchaikovsky’s essential masterpiece returns for a live broadcast of the most-beloved ballet in the classical canon. Technically challenging and filled with vibrant emotion, with a stunning and world-famous corps de ballet in perfect unison, the legendary love story between Prince Siegfried and the dual personalities Odette/Odile, born at the Bolshoi Theatre, is a must-see.

Blast From Past
North Moore Theatre presents “A Blast From the Past” Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at North Moore High School.
“Join us for a night full of fun and food as we travel down memory lane performing music form the 1950s and 1960s,” says a spokesman.
Tickets are $5, and funds raised go to support the spring musical production “Hairspray.”
On Sunday, Feb. 23, at 3 p.m., join a ranger on a 1.5-mile guided hike on the Paint Hill tract to find the rare Sandhills Pyxie-moss, a species only known to exist in a handful of counties in the Carolinas. On Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m., come experience the dark side of Weymouth Woods, that is, on a night hike. Enjoy the trails by starlight and learn how nocturnal animals of all shapes and sizes navigate their dark world, and how human senses compare.
