Culdee Presbyterian Church will hold its Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During the morning hours, attendees can enjoy shopping at the Country Store, which will offer baked goods, plants, vegetables, canned goods, crafts, and more. The gift shop will have a variety of items for sale that would be great to purchase as gifts for yourself and family and friends.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the youth group will have a hot dog lunch, and the “Kids’ Corner” will have activities like a bouncy house, face painting, crafts and games.
From 2 to 4 p.m. a live auction will take place offering great items for all ages. Raffle tickets will be available for a queen-sized quilt (Patriot pattern), with shams, handmade by the Culdee Quilters. Raffle tickets will also be available for VISA money cards ($300, $100, $50). “The drawing for the raffles is held at 7 p.m., but you do not have to be present to win,” says a spokesman.
A chicken and dumpling dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Dine in or go through the convenient take out line. The cost is $8 a plate.
Culdee is located at 916 N.C. 73 across from the Eastwood Fire Station.
