Anytime Fitness will host its 3rd Annual Lifting Competition, a benefit fundraiser for the Moore County Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) Association on Saturday, Sept. 21. The event will be held at the Anytime Fitness facility located in PineCroft Plaza, in Taylortown.

The competition falls on the National Thank a Police Officer Day. Law enforcement officers representing agencies from across Moore County will be participating.

“The goal of this event is to raise money and awareness for the Moore County L.E.O., all in a supportive and yet competitive environment.” said Hannah Ambrozewski, co-owner of the Anytime Fitness clubs here in the Pines and host of the event. “Even though we’re competing against each other in the Lift Off, we couldn’t be more supportive of all competitors in these challenging events. The importance of giving back is vital and it is rewarding to make a difference for our local officers faced with difficult times.”

This year a ‘Run with a Cop 5k’ event will kick off the Lift Off competition. The 5K is a free event for all to participate, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. We are encouraging everyone from our Community to join us as a way to show support to our local officers and get in a great workout. As an added incentive, to those who participate in the 5k run will receive a FREE Anytime Fitness 7-Day Pass/Bracelet and Anytime Fitness towel. All are welcome to watch this year’s competition consisting of 4 events: Bench Press, Dead-lift, Squat, and 5K run.

The Anytime Fitness clubs in the Pines are Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Operated Facilities.

“Anytime Fitness is the supportive, welcoming gym with people of all fitness levels who want to see you succeed,” said Ambrozewski.

The club offers a total body workout that combines strength, functional, and cardiovascular training, in a top-of-the-line and expertly-designed workout center. With one membership you get access to all 4,000+ locations.

Anytime Fitness is the only fitness club that offers 24-hour access in all of its locations in Moore County. In addition to its always open convenience, the club is an affordable fitness option, that is highlighted by its friendly and well-maintained facility.
