Local residents gathered Tuesday evening in Downtown Park in Southern Pines for the annual Take Back the Night Event sponsored by Friend to Friend. The candlelight event remembers those who have lost their lives to domestic violence. The event included remarks by Moore County District Attorney Mike Hardin.
