The Pinecrest men's soccer team won the Sandhills Athletic Conference tournament championship Saturday night at Hoke County on penalty kicks. The game was tied 2-2 after regulation and two five-minute overtimes. Pinecrest goal keeper Hunter Johnson made two big saves as Pinecrest prevailed 4-2, with goals by Nick Vences, Gray Smith, Justin Phillips and Binka Woody.
