Pet Supermarket, a premium pet supplies, accessories and grooming retailer who “speaks pet,” will celebrate one year at its Southern Pines location on Saturday, Feb. 15. The store will simultaneously offer a free educational workshop on pet dental hygiene and celebrate National Adoption Weekend by hosting two local rescues. All animals and the people who love them are invited to attend the day-long extravaganza.

From 2-3 p.m., Pet Supermarket’s Pet Experts will host a discussion on alternatives to brushing, prevention of oral diseases, and other tips regarding water additives, oral sprays, dental treats and chewing toys. Representatives will then host a Q&A session for pet parents.

From 12-4 p.m., Rogue Rescue and F.O.U.R On will be in the store with pets available for adoption. Additionally, food trucks from Roasted & Toasted, Big Fat Philly and Tacos El Primo will be onsite with food available for purchase.

Customers will also have an opportunity to learn more about the variety of products and services that Pet Supermarket has to offer, including the store’s signature $10 self-serve dog wash stations.
