The Climate Crisis Working Group of Moore County (CCWG), an organization supporting committed action to stem the impacts of climate change and to build climate resilience, presents the second of two virtual candidate forums--this one for candidates running to represent constituents in our region at the Federal level. Intended to bring climate change to the forefront of the 2020 elections, these forums will allow candidates to express their views on climate change issues critical to North Carolina, and for central North Carolina residents to discuss with them their key concerns around climate policy at the local, state, and national levels.

These nonpartisan events will include brief opening statements by each candidate, followed by the candidates responding to several predetermined questions and a moderated Q & A with the audience. The event is free and open to the public.
