Twice a year we open a kiln load of over 1500 pieces and invite everyone to the pottery for a Kiln Opening Sale! It’s a fun chance to see the workshop, the kilns, the showroom/barn, and enjoy a day in the country.

The shelves are stocked with dozens of lovely tumblers, bud vases, bowls, mugs, jars, planters, and more made by our apprentices, and a stunning selection of dinnerware, mugs, vases, pitchers, lidded jars, handsome serving bowls, platters and planters made by master potter, Mark Hewitt.

This was the 106th Firing of our huge wood-burning kiln, and all the pots are stamped ’106’.

#37 on the Chatham Studio Tour - the 1st two weekends in December!
