The Super 32 Challenge is the premiere pre-season wrestling tournament in America. Capped at 1250 competitors, last year online registration closed in under 40 minutes. This year eleven Union Pines High School student-athletes who wrestle for the Copperheads Wrestling Club were able to make the cut before registration closed. Two qualified to pre-register and locked in their participation before registration opened to the general public.

How tough is the Super 32? This year 164 of the 1366 registered wrestlers carry the title of State Champion. This is one of the reasons the tournament is considered the toughest pre-season tournament in our nation. The Copperheads wrestlers will have their work cut out for them to place in this heralded tournament and make an impression on the over 60 college coaches there looking to recruit their future NCAA All-Americans and Champions.
