Put Me in Coach!

For a sports fan the next few weeks are very exciting. Baseball begins, The Final Four concludes, golf's first major of the year is around the bend and both regular seasons for the NBA and NHL are finishing up.

And as a sports fan, I am definitely excited about all those things, but there is one thing that really gets me stoke this time of year. Fantasy baseball season. For those of you you play the game, you know what I am talking about. For others, think of it as if your favorite TV show (in my case, Mad Men and Jersey Shore) is getting ready to start a new season. The excitement has been building since last season's finale and now it is time to crash in front of the TV.

I am stoked. Its been a few years since I moved from Cincy and left behind a heckuva group of dedicated baseball fans that gathered each year and participated in the Bo Diaz Satellite League, a 10 to 12 team NL-only league.

Our league is small -- only eight teams in mixed league (AL and NL players) so it should be exciting. We draft tonight.

Throughout the season i will keep you updated with our league progress, and offer a few helpful hints for those of you who play the game....

I too am stoked and I had fun drafting tonight Tommy. It went quicker than I thought -- like a blur -- Its great u and JK3 and I can be in a league with some other other fine fellows, all currently involved/linked in some form or fashion with Moco (Moore County) prep baseball .....and now.... We make up the inaugural MocoSportsGuys Rotisserie Fantasy baseball league !!!
