Five minutes into my gym workout on Monday night I was convinced. The new cardio exercise machines are smarter than I am. Yep. now my favorite eliptical machine comes with a touch screen that has the capability to handle e-mail, in addition to allowing me to play video games or watch television while I work out. I admit, I kinda like the new machines, but there are a tad too complicated. I tried to play the card game on the eliptical, but I admit I am not that coordinated. Moving both hands and feet in some semblance of synchronicity while attempting to play a card game using a touch screen computer is a bit too complicated for a guy who has trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time. Maybe I need to spend a little more time on hand-eye coordination exercises and a little less time doing burpees.

Been there and done that..... I pretend the new gadgets do not exist and focus on the exercise part....
