Pinecrest High School Reunion 2013 Classes 1970 through 1975 Dear fellow classmates of Pinecrest High School: We hope this letter finds you doing well and enjoying life! A committee of classmates has come together to create a fabulous reunion for the Pinecrest classes of 1970 through 1975. The dates for the reunion are June 14th & 15th, 2013, so mark your calendars now. Our immediate focus is to make sure we contact everyone who was a member of the Pinecrest classes of 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975. As you might imagine, there are hundreds of names, mailing addresses and email addresses to be gathered. Finding addresses for the women is especially challenging because of their married names. Please reach out to your classmates, make them aware of the reunion, and have them send us their mailing and email addresses. They can do this on the submission form on our website mentioned below. The reunion committee is excited about the plans for the reunion. On Friday, June 14, we will be having a get together at Aberdeen Lake from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., featuring food, music and games. On Saturday, June 15, we have planned a dinner and dance at the Southern Pines Elks/Country Club from 6 p.m. to Midnight. There will be a cash bar at the Elks Club on Saturday evening. For our fun and fabulous weekend, music will be provided by DJ Robbie Farrell of Aberdeen. Both the Friday and Saturday events are included for $75.00 per person. We have established a reunion web site (designed by Bill Toney, Class of '72) at www.pinecrestreunion2013.net, to allow you an easy way to provide us your contact information. The web site is updated frequently, so we encourage you to check it often.
Please feel free to contact any of the committee members if you have information about classmates, suggestions for the reunion, or if you would like to volunteer on a reunion committee. We meet each month, usually the third Thursday of the month at First Bank at Pinecrest Plaza. We hope to have a great turnout for this reunion, but it won't happen without you, your help and your participation. It should be lots of fun catching up with one another after 40+ years. We look forward to seeing all of you next June, and in the meantime we wish you all the best. GO PATRIOTS!
