Back in April of last year I went to write a story about the Shakori Hills music festival just outside of Pittsboro and saw the Durham-based hip-hop/jazz group the Beast perform. They were the kind of guys that not only know music inside and out, they were also great performers and they clearly cared about what they were doing.

I've been on their email list ever since, and just got this video from them: The Beast playing with Megafaun

To go off the post yesterday about Justin Vernon, Megafaun is in this, too. I don't know if I've ever been more jealous of elementary school kids.
