If you live between Carthage and Vass maybe you can help us. Our little pug went missing Monday July 19 from the McIntosh Road area. My wife, daughter and I were at the beach. We got home Wednesday afternoon and began canvassing the neighborhood. We found a lady down the street who said she knew who had her. We drove to that lady's house. She told us that she had found our dog and kept her one day but then she returned her the next day exactly where she had found her: by the side of the road.

We have looked and looked and knocked on doors. We have called Animal Control. We have put out a lost dog ad on the Pilot and will be putting up posters. We realize that a blog entry may not be the most appropriate forum for a lost pet notice, but we feel that somebody has her or maybe knows something.

If you have seen her or know anything, please call Sally or Madison at 315-6868, or take her to the Humane Society or Animal Control. We have left missing dog reports at both places. We have a 4 year old who misses her dearly.

Our little dog's name is Gracie. If you have seen the movie Men in Black, you know what a pug looks like.
