Tis the Season...

That would be election season and our roadways and TVs are taken over by the efforts of concerned neighbors to get the word out. Tv ads claiming this and that and sometimes if you hear something enough times, you can start to believe it. After watching the first debate last week, I reasoned that people's thought processes would change about each person invloved. It took about 3-4 days until reality meant nothing anymore and those with an agenda were screaming "don't believe your lying ears", listen to us. My oh my would it be nice to see someone figure out how to get "common sense" back into our daily thought process. I hear so many people say things that 25 years ago, would have been arrested. Like Dan Rather trying to lie and forge George W Bush out of the White House. That used to be treason, trying to change a national election with false statements. You have a better chance being arrested telling the truth these day and twisting facts have become an art, like twisting notes in music. If you are or every have been in business, or managed a business, you have probably looked at more than a few resumes to find good help. Someone that you could trust your business to. Try that in November before voting for President of the US and see what happens to your thoughts. I do mean the real resumes of these two people, not what you've come to believe.. Personal references are kinda important as well, like pastor, mentors, business partners, and the people each of them look up to. Count the lies that you have proof of and the petiness or extremity of these lies. If honesty is important to you, then you will make the right choice. God Bless America!!

Also Folks remember this. Please pass this on no matter who you want as President of the United States.

What is “straight-ticket” or “straight-party” voting?

Straight-ticket or straight-party voting is a way to vote for all the candidates of the same political party on the ballot by marking one box – except in North Carolina, when you make that choice, it does NOT include the presidential contest. You have to make a separate choice for your preferred presidential candidate.

After you mark the box to vote straight-party, you can still vote for another party’s candidate in a specific contest; that choice will overwrite your straight-party vote but just in that specific contest.

Note: Be sure to vote in the non-partisan contests, including those for judges. Non-partisan contests are not included in straight-party voting.
