So glad to chime in! Red Door has the best ice cream and gelato in Moore County. Thanks to owner Betsy and her crew for toiling at night to bring us such treats in the day. Please support the Red Door to make sure a favorite Pinehurst spot succeeds.

Language arts teacher Lisa Elliott had her head shaved by hairstylist Nichole Jenkins during an after-school event at Crains Creek Middle School May 3. Elliott promised students she would shave her head if they helped her raise money to participate in the Disney Half Marathon, which raises funds for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Students and the school community held Elliott to her promise and helped her raise more than $4,000. Enlarge

The Red Door Cafe owner Betse Hamilton is one of the BEST things that has happened to the Village in a long time! I agree the very best homemade ice cream in Moore County; fabulous soups and salads! Everything is fresh and made with love and care! Keep patronizing our local shops!
