I have a cute male weiner dog mix, not sure his exact breed, who needs a home. Small, about 20-25 lbs. Brown and black. He has shots and a microchip. I have his vet and original adoption paperwork. He is a good watch dog and gets along with other dogs and kids too.

I also have a pure breed, all white Malamute Husky female, blue (almost white) eyes, who needs a home. Big bushy tail, she is spayed (so my dad says), still needs a little work on getting her housebroken. Must have lots of room. She has to be an indoor pet because of her color and she has super thick fur like a bear, so she would die outdoors. She does shed some and needs to be brushed every day. Needs lots of exercise. Gets along good with kids and other dogs.

If you LOVE these kinds of dogs and have a great home for them, please reply and get them soon.

May I suggest you create a free photoblog for example the easiest blog to create is http://www.Posterous.com (I have a Posterous acct because it is so easy and simple and quick to use not to mention FREE!) and place photos of the pets up for adoption to a good home along with more info on that blog then post it on social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter. A picture really makes all the difference to capture the attention of a potential adopter(s) for the dogs. You also want to be careful to screen anyone interested to make sure they do not go to cruel and downright wrong medical/pharmaceutical/make-up companies testing facilities or used as bate in in illegal dog fighting rings. You might also want to explain briefly the reason for needing to find these 2 dogs a home as people will want to know as much as possible when making considerations such as their age, are you their first pet owner or were they owned by someone else previous, are they spayed/neutered, etc. This is my first blog comment post via The Pilot so I am still figuring it out as I go but is there a way to post photos when we blog here? Anyway, thank you for keeping care of them until you do find them a home as the shelters are extremely full and of course they only have so much "time" once placed in a pound to be available for adoption or else...rainbow bridge awaits them :( Unless of course it is a no-kill shelter which you need to make sure to ask before releasing a pet to a facility. In my opinion, if you are unable to keep pets then the best thing to do is what you are doing; fostering the dogs yourself in your home and posting info just include photos if you can and then let others help you share the photoblog link information through various sources until the dogs are re-homed. Feel free to visit my Posterous photoblog http://www.sophierobbins.com/rescue-foster-adopt this will give you an idea on how to list animals that need homes. If you do create a blog link let me know and I will include it on that page, meantime I will share this posting you created. Hope this helps and best wishes~
