Which Shoes Will You Be Wearing???
This weekend is a 'long' weekend for most folks and the beginning of Spring Break for some students. The weather forecast is cooperating for ALL outdoor activities. We might even hit 90 degrees here in Pinehurst this weekend (a bit too warm if you ask me).
It is tempting to stick around the Sandhills and play golf (Golf Shoes), but I have a feeling the courses will be very busy and I prefer to play during the week when it's not busy - gives me more time to look for my ball ;-)
I also LOVE the Carolina beaches (No Shoes) this time of year! Since it is Easter weekend, I think the beaches will also be a bit busy.
One of the things I enjoy about being centrallly located in the state of NC, is that I can drive to the beach in a couple of hours.....even make a day trip of it if I want to! And the mountains are only a 3.5 hour drive away.
We've decided to to drive up to the mountains for the weekend! So, looks like I'll be wearing my Hiking Shoes!!! Lots of hiking trails, crisp clean air and beautiful highland views....here I come!
