It was my understanding that all gas pumps in the State of North Carolina were inspected by the NC Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Upon successfully completing the inspection, a sticker is put on the pump showing the date the pump was inspected. I just purchased gas at the Kangaroo station on 15/501 in Southern Pines (in front of the Lowe's Hardware store). Not a single pump there has an inspection sticker displayed. I wonder how many other pumps in Moore County are missing this sticker also. I wonder if anyone else has noticed.

I'm usually so dumbfounded by the price, that I forget to look to see if the pump is inspected or not!

Courseaire - I was kind of hoping other citizens would peek the next time they filled up and post here. I have a full time job so don't really have the time (or inclination) to drive all over the county looking!! Any takers?

The shell station in southern pines at the intersection of Morganton road was $3.35 yesterday.
