I'm not really a political guy. I'm pretty middle-of-the-road and cross party lines frequently in the voting booth. While my job as the editor of this paper calls for me at times to weigh in on political matters for our editorial page, I don't generally throw around my personal viewpoints.

That said, I'm no fan of the Amendment One on the May 8 ballot and plan on voting no. Feel free to argue either side of that, but what I wanted to highlight in this post is a song that came to my attention today. It features a number of Greensboro performers and participants whom I know personally and professionally. It's led by singer Laurelyn Dossett, who's no stranger around here.
