This article doesn't even deserve further exploitation.....because, that is exactly what she wants. More exposure will just further FEED (pun intended) her ridiculous goals.

I wonder about what type of healthcare she receives (I didn't read the article, so if it was in there I didn't see it). But, as a self-employed person, who simply can't afford health insurance.....it really X!@# me off!!!

Mtnneer: Don't knock 'em until you try one. Another thing wrong with this world (and Big Bertha) is too many Quarter Pounders....unless you jog from Pinehurst to McD's and back. But it's a free country, so eat away....

@NCgirl Well stated my blogging cuz! Most of the Pilot reporters are getting lazy these days. They are afraid to get out there in "our county" and shake the bushes for some real eye opening stories! It seems to me that the only stories that come from the Pilot in recent months are reports that a new feed store is opening....reporter has a new dog.....and a bunch of wine-sipping country club folks have had a recent social event. Have you ever noticed that when they show pics. of the out and about events in the Sandhills...most of the folks are hanging on to their wine glasses. A great example for the youth of our community! Cheers to you Pilot staff!

@ASU88 - Hi Cuz! Happy St. Patty's Day to ya!

Yeah, the 'cocktail hour' is alive and well here in the Sandhills....always has been, always will be! I think the problem with the 'Out n About' pix are those folks are the only ones who contact the photographers to come to their events. I don't know about you, Cuz.....but, if I've had a couple of drinkie poos....I prefer not to have my picture taken and exhibited in local publications ;-)

I admit, I will be enjoying a tall dark BEER with my Irish Dinner tonight!

As for The Pilot and the reporters.....I'm thinking that this interactive blogging will continue to challenge the reporters to do their best, dig deeper and produce some newsworthy information!

@NCgirl, I'll be looking for your pic in the out & about section of the Pilot. Will you be hanging on to a cold bottle of "barley juice"? :) Maybe the out and about reporters should come out to Clyde Maness's on Tuesday night and take some pics of down to earth, blue collar folks having a good time! Sorry readers no wine or tuxs in these pics..just down home folks...getting down with some good old bluegrass music. As you "yankee" guys say "This is how we do it up north". Well head north in Moore County and we will show you how we do it...without a glass of wine. Just a dipper full of cold well drawn water in these parts! Boonedocks are alive and kick'n!
