Palustris Festival Videos

Several videos shot by Al Daniels during weekend activities at the Palustris Festival.

An Affair of the Arts

The Fair Barn in Pinehurst was packed with almost 500 people Friday night. As part of the Palustris Festival lineup, the dinner, dance and cabaret show proved to be a popular offering. Tom Bennett's Swing Street Band provided the music, while other entertaiment was offered by the Knollwood Sisters and the Alive and Clickin' dance troupe.

Arts in the Arboretum

The Village Arboretum was a busy place Saturday during the Palustris Festival. Different activities, ranging from kite making to an adventure hunt, provided a family-oriented day outside in the sun.

This and That

Al Daniels stopped by several Palustris events, including the "Oldest Living Confederate Widow: Her Confession" held at Old Bethesda Church in Aberdeen Sunday; the Sandhills Carving Club exhibit, also on Sunday; and to the Moore County Choral Society Ensemble in Concert at Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church on Saturday.
