Sights and Sounds of the Palustris Festival: Rhiannon Giddens and Peggy Seeger

Rhiannon Giddens, of the Grammy-Award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, joined legendary folk artist Peggy Seeger onstage for a surprise performance at the Poplar Night Spot in Aberdeen March 22, for Seeger's Palustris Festival performance. The performance was part of Seeger's last U.S. tour. While onstage, Giddens said she was honored to be performing with a musician, whose work was so influential in her own music.
