Language arts teacher Lisa Elliott had her head shaved by hairstylist Nichole Jenkins during an after-school event at Crains Creek Middle School May 3. Elliott promised students she would shave her head if they helped her raise money to participate in the Disney Half Marathon, which raises funds for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Students and the school community held Elliott to her promise and helped her raise more than $4,000. Enlarge

Hey we played in this! It's cool to see a video of what we experienced. Mr. Taylor did a good job capturing the event. Definitely sped the game up for our group of 4 shaky golfers. It didn't keep you from hitting bad shots though and you still had to focus a little bit around the greens. I never really have enjoyed putting, except at putt-putt courses, so I thought it was okay to get that part of the game out of the way. Just knock it in the hole and gimme a driver already.
