Pinecrest Signing Day Celebration

A pep band kicked off Pinecrest's National Signing Day celebration Wednesday. In all, the Patriots had 12 seniors sign letters-of-intent to play college football. Before announcing each player individually, third-year head football coach Chris Metzger showed a bit of his motivational flair by giving a rousing speech in which he called Moore County one of the best communities in the country to live in and said Pinecrest is headed toward unprecedented success with its athletic program this school year. Finally, senior Blade Shoop, the only recruit to sign in-state, talks about his decision to choose Division II Fayetteville State over other suiters.
