The O’Neal boys’ basketball team lost 78-64 to visiting Burlington Christian Academy Friday.

The Falcons battled throughout the contest, grabbing a one-point lead by the end of the first quarter. O’Neal trailed by seven at halftime.

The Falcons were led by freshman Patrick Reaves with 19 points, freshman Zach Wade had 17 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman Jalen Lindsey and senior Bennett Moore also had double figures in points with 13 and 11, respectively. 

A busy week for the Falcons started Tuesday with a home game against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill. Results were not available by press time.

Wednesday, O’Neal travels to American Hebrew Academy before ending the week Friday with a game at Davidson Day.
