What Akin said was completely moronic, and he deserves every bit of ridicule he gets, but that doesn't mean he should drop out of the race. If Mizzous don't like him they simply shouldn't vote for him. Besides, he's not the only representative to say something completely asinine....(see if you can hold back your laughter)

If he were a Democrat, he wouldn't bow out, nor would he be pressured to do so either by other Democrats, or the media. But this guy's a Republican, so that's different, and he should probably get out of the race if Republicans hope to win the seat and a chance at the Senate. Double standard.

Insert the word "forceable" in place of "Legitimate" which was the term I believe he should have said and meant based on the entire answer and then his history and then you have a different story or no story at all other than that he is pro-life.
