Constitutions are meant to PRESERVE freedoms, or GRANT them, but for NC to have an amendment DENYING freedom to a segment of the population is a horrendous misuse of power.

FREEDOM DOES NOT MEAN that people can do any darn thing they want to do!!!!!!!!!! I was going to say, act like animals, but not even animals behave in that manner!

JustThinking - FREEDOM does mean that you should be able to treat everyone as equals, granting them the same rights afforded you regardless of their lifestyle choices. Giving them the ability to protect.and support the ones they love.

JustThinking: Actually -- and you can look this up -- about 10 to 11 percent of that part of the animal kingdom that is sexually differentiated does indeed demonstrate behaviors of homosexuality. Oh, and can you name something animals really do NOT do that humans do?
