Once again this is a case of little foresight! These people involved with the development will no doubt be complaining of aircraft noise soon after the building of the development (if allowed to occur). With all the available space in the area, why not protect the airport and public from interfering with each other.

If this development is allowed, then soon after, complaints will come in about the noise of planes taking off and landing. This community hosts many nationally and internationally known golf tournaments, and that is the biggest money maker that is subject to being stopped due to not being able to take off and land the aircraft that is associated with just those events. There is plenty enough land to build a development anywhere in the area that will not interfere with the airport, which is crucial to the community.

This development is so out of touch with the area, three story apartments, 3 houses under the flight path of the airport for either runway. Noise will be a problem not to mention the real problem hwere is the traffic on Rt. 22 and the circle. I saw the newest plans and the driveway in and out of this development is so close to the circle that traffic will be backed up forever. The second entrance only goes south on Rt. 22 and is not inline with Warrior Woods so if a light was ever installed it would be a staggered one. The commercial property is right under the flight path and the Planning Bd. restricted some uses, but they are not strong enough. Not to mention the safety issue. Esther Frye's property would make a great third entrance to Tyler's Ridge but she isn't selling at this time. The three stand alone houses are backed up to the Gardens who will buy these homes or will they be for rent too!!!! College kids living in those apartments will make a slum out of them in no time. What a beautiful site for the folks coming here for the Golf tournaments in 2014 my oh my!

I live not far from the airport, and I can tell you from experience of living in the approach path on one end of the runway that traffic from the airport is neither so frequent nor so loud that your arguments in that regard hold much water. Most of the traffic is small aircraft, with a few 12-14 seaters coming in a day. It's not a big deal.
