Maxie's? Bell Tree? Really? Never heard of Maxies. what percent of Pilot readers actually eat at Maxie's and Bell Tree enough to make a determination? How about some Chuck Wagon Crinkle Cuts?

I would like to see a local restaurant, actually break out with some read fresh cut fries...Even the new Wendy's fried, which they claim are fresh cut...are not.... Nothing better than ...cut the potato, immediately drop into hot grease and pop out and salt while hot.............No restaurant has this.

I would be willing to wait an extra 5 minutes for them...

Hey Runorbike, Good question about the poll. Here is a link that will put the poll in context.

I haven't been to Maxie's(I've tried, but the parking is overflowing when I go by) or had the new Wendy's fries.

Dugan's has always had very good battered fries.

I think the "triple cooked" fries at the Sly Fox are very good too. They're definitely different than anyone else's.
