Prayers of Thanksgiving

Seven local congregations of various faiths came together at Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines Nov. 18 to celebrate the true meaning of Thanksgiving by bringing the whole community into a setting in which various traditions share their gratitude for blessings. The Interfaith Service included representatives from Chapel in the Pines, Congregational Church of Pinehurst, Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church, McDonalds Chapel Presbyterian Church, Community of Mindful Living in the Pines, Sandhills Jewish Congregation with Temple Beth Shalom and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Sandhills.
