Hundreds Participate in Patriot 5k
More than 400 people celebrated Independence Day by participating in the Patriot 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run at Pinecrest High School July 4. Ten states were represented in the field of runners, including California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington. The event raised $14,000 based on sponsorships, entry fees and donations for Operation One Voice and Pinecrest Running Programs.
