North Carolina Symphony 80th Anniversary Season – Thursday, October 18, 2012

Barber, Kabalevsky, and Brahms, were the featured composers for the second in the series of seven Moore County North Carolina Symphony concerts celebrating the orchestra’s eightieth season at Lee Auditorium of Pinecrest High School. This concert, presented on Thursday, October 18, was led by Carlos Miguel Prieto, guest conductor, while Brian Reagin, concertmaster of the orchestra, performed as soloist. Audience members had the opportunity to meet and speak with the musicians during the intermission. Pre-concert musical selections were performed by the Pinecrest High School String Quartet.
